Service to Education Provisions:
Love To Communicate have extensive experience and impact working within primary schools, secondary schools, academies and colleges. Therapists are available to work in provisions for full days, half days, an agreed block of time or one off visits.
We currently work with over 30 schools/ academies and FE provisions, delivering a bespoke, high impact and outcome measured service.

- Individual assessment followed by written advice and activities for staff to support communication skills.
- Screening Initiative for early identification - We have a robust and impact measured Reception Screener and an award winning Year 7 secondary screening initiative.
- Deliver individual therapy and advise on carry on targets to staff and parents.
- Delivering intervention and assessment to children and young people with an EHCP.
- Assessing and providing evidence for EHCP process.
- Transition work
- Run intervention groups including: attention and listening/ pre-literacy skills/ speech sound/ expressive and receptive language/ vocabulary/ pre-teaching/ narrative/ social communication.
- Carrying out specific narrative and drama groups with children to enhance communication/ confidence and provide pre/ post teaching of classroom topic.
- Carry out our bespoke 'Heads Up' intervention for year 9, 10 and 11 students to help them access the English GCSE Curriculum.
- Training staff to carry out groups - with follow up support visits from therapist.
- Training whole staff groups on topics such as Speech and Language development/ language delay/disorders/ Autism/ language in the classroom, etc. (This can be in the form of INSETs/ Twilight sessions/ staff meetings/ webinars)
- Core Offer for schools developed and whole school trained.
- We aim to work with schools and develop packages of intervention that suit their requirements.
